About

A neighborhood shop built on family and trust.

Stevens Automotive Repair opened its doors in 1994 after years of experience in local shops and a lifetime of turning wrenches. The goal was simple: give people a place where they feel respected, informed, and confident about the work being done on their car.

Dave Stevens learned automotive repair from his father right here in Geneva, then spent more than a decade working in a busy St. Charles shop before opening his own doors. He added formal training through a technical automotive school and has been serving drivers in the area for decades.

Dave is more than a parts replacer. He’s a diagnostician who wants to know why something failed and how to fix it the right way – not just the fast way. He’s built race engines, maintained family minivans, and everything in between.

Outside the shop, Dave is involved with steam engine and tractor groups and enjoys time with his wife, four daughters, and grandchildren.
